The Harding High School Bowling Team has started off the season in fine fashion with a couple of good tournament showings.

December Notes:

At the High School Kick-Off Invitational in Columbus, the Skippers were in 2nd place out of 33 teams after round 1 but lost to Struthers in round 2 and finished in 9th place.  Overall, it was a good showing against some of the better competition in the state.

At the Early Bird Team Championships in Kent, the Skippers put a solid effort together to finish 3rd out of 17 teams.

The Skippers improved to 4-0 in match play with a win over Cuyahoga Heights.  Jordan Johnson led the team with a 493 series.

Congratulations to Casey Cohagan on being named Bowling Player of the Week for the Plain Dealer.

Over Christmas break, the Skippers bowling team traveled to tournaments in Akron, Hubbard, and Younsgtown.  Akron was a bit dissapointing with an 11th place finish, but Hubbard and Youngstown turned out much better with 1st and 2nd place finishes, respectively.
